jDeGBS Young Scientists Symposium 2026

We are happy that the Lühr Group was well represented at this year’s jDeGBS Young Scientists Symposium. Jasmine Aein, Robin Hegering, and Roman Schwarz presented their latest research findings on mechanistic modeling of DNA repair processes, in vivo analyses of radiation-induced damage to normal tissue, and ion-independent RBE modeling in various sessions. In addition to many exciting workshops and talk sessions, there was also a lively exchange with colleagues and collaboration partners from Darmstadt, Essen, Dresden, and Hamburg.
We congratulate Robin on winning the Audience Award for Best Poster Presentation at the jDeGBS Symposium and Jasmine on her election to the jDeGBS extended team (Physics Committee). Furthermore, Roman was awarded with a travel grant from the DeGBS in the run-up to the symposium.
