First Meeting of the UncovRT-Consortium in Dresden

At the first joint meeting of the BMFTR-funded “UncovRT” project, the participating research institutions gathered in Dresden. Prof. Armin Lühr and Lisa Majewski represented our group during the scientific exchange.

The focus was on both preclinical and clinical aspects of radiation-induced side effects in the brain. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to bring together current findings and different research approaches, as well as to further strengthen cross-site collaboration within the consortium.

UncovRT aims to better understand the biological mechanisms underlying radiation-induced side effects in the brain and, in the long term, to improve the quality of life for brain tumor patients.
